Graphic Era Hill University celebrates the spirit of womanhood on the occasion of International Women's Day 2018.



GEU and GEHU welcome Prof. Olivier Sparagano (Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor, research) and Mr. David Wright (Director of Strategic Initiatives), from Coventry University, the United Kingdom for discussions on academic and research collaborations between the two universities.



BBA VI semester (Finance) students of Dehradun Campus participated in the Economic Conference organized by World Hindu Economic Forum at Janta Milan Hall, CM House on 13th of March 2018 from 3 pm to 6.45 pm. Shri Trivender Singh Rawat, Hon'ble Chief Minister was the chief guest and it was a very learning experience for the students.

A seminar on 'Preparing for the Age of Future Technologies'. The Fusion of the Physical, Biological and Information World in the 4th Industrial Age. By Prof. M. M. Pant (Thinker & Promoter of Future Technologies). His Excellency, Dr K.K Paul, the Hon'ble Governor of Uttarakhand was the Chief Guest.

Dehradun 17the March: Uttarakhand governor Dr. K. K. Paul said that the coming age is of Artificial Intelligence. He was addressing a seminar on ‘Preparing for the age of future technologies’ at Graphic Era Hill University today.

Expressing his views as the Chief Guest, Dr. Paul said that science never stands still. With its progress, the society progresses. The governor said this while addressing a two-day seminar in Graphic Era Hill University as the chief guest today.

During his address in the seminar which was organized to meet the future technology challenges, Dr Paul said that the main objective of science is human welfare. All the scientific inventions and discoveries are meant for the benefit of society. The coming age is of Artificial Intelligence but it should be used only as a supporting tool for the betterment of mankind.

Citing examples of telegraph, television, telephone, radio and internet, the governor said that new technologies have emerged with time and later better techniques replaced them. Science never stands still and its growth is necessary for the development of human progress. Governor said that the coming age is of Artificial Intelligence and its usage applies in different fields. Today we have unlimited data in all the sectors, for whose analysis supercomputers are put to use.
