Graphic Era gifts mini ECG machine to the world

Show in the varsity after being congratulated by Modi

Dehradun, June 9: After being congratulated by Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, Graphic Era’s Rajat Jain demonstrated the working of world’s smallest ECG machine before students today. Prime Minister, Mr. Modi had recently appreciated Rajat’s startup through video conferencing. The ECG machine made by Rajat can easily fit inside a match box.

Rajat has given this special gift to the people after completing mechanical engineering from Graphic Era deemed university. Prime Minister Mr Modi has himself called this an international invention. The TBI centre in Graphic Era gave Rajat opportunity to work on his startup idea and realise his dreams. President of Graphic Era Group, Prof. Dr. Kamal Ghanshala had offered all kind of help, including financial assistance to Rajat. Currently, Rajat is pursuing M. Tech from Graphic Era.

While demonstrating the working of his revolutionary invention in Graphic Era Hill University today, Rajat said that his ECG machine can be easily operated without any doctors or specialists. Leads of this machine can be put on the person’s chest for getting an instant ECG through any smart phone.

Earlier, Rajat’s ECG machine was given the best startup award by the Uttarakhand government. Rajat’s ECG machine had bagged first position among 1700 startups from across the state. Rajat’s team had a long chat with Prime Minister Mr Modi through video conferencing from National Informatics Centre (NIC) on Wednesday.

Students asked several questions related to Rajat’s ECG machine today.  Rajat said that Graphic Era’s tagline, “Transforming dreams into reality” proved true in his life. Students of Graphic Era, Nitin Chandola, Saurabh Badola, Sabit Rawat and Ujjwal Kumar assisted Rajat in this invention.

Students welcomed Rajat and garlanded him for this commendable achievement. Faculty members of Graphic Era, Dr. Vishal Sagar, Taha Siddiqui, Vikram Rautela, Okesh Chabbra and Piyush Bagla were present on the occasion.

Congratulating Rajat Jain for his achievement, President, Graphic Era Group, Dr. Kamal Ghanshala said that Graphic Era is known not only for good placement of students, but also encourages new research, innovations, and entrepreneurship among students.
