New Session of B.Tech Starts in Graphic Era Hill University
Colourful cultural events mark the beginning of new start
Dehradun, 30th July, 2018. Hundreds of wannabe engineers kept their first step in Graphic Era Hill University with dreams in their eyes and passion in their heart .The new session for B.Tech began with educational and cultural programs in the university today.
Vice Chancellor of Graphic Era Hill University, Prof. Dr Sanjay Jasola while addressing the young engineers said that it was a memorable moment for all the students who had reached university after completing their schooling and took their first step towards academic journey in our University. He further said that taking admission in Graphic Era Hill University is beginning of their journey to a golden future.
The president of Graphic Era Group Prof. Dr Kamal Ghanshala motivated the students to cultivate a fire to achieve success with hard work and dedication. He shared with the students that there are more than 700 universities across India and more than 34,000 centers for higher education and Graphic Era has achieved 10th position among these by the Human resource development Ministry for the digital initiatives taken by the University for students leaning and global exposure. Graphic Era believes in providing quality education in every field and the initiatives of quick learning and online courses are examples of the same.
Graphic Era Hill University gives equal importance to education and cleanliness in the campus and motivates students to follow the same. MHRD has also granted the university the status of eighth most clean campus in India. After demonetization on 8th November 2016, MHRD has also given the University second position for its crucial role in spreading awareness about digital money transaction.
Yatharth Joshi and Yuvraj, students of Graphic Era University also interacted with the young students and shared their experience of embarking their way to Guinness book of world records for making the world’s tallest statue from paper mesh. Earnest Longman, student of mechanical engineering who secured his dream job with Byjus and has also attained the highest package for the year gave the students mantra of cracking successful interview.
In the second session of the Induction program new students enjoyed the enthralling performances of their seniors and some were so excited that they volunteered to perform on the stage. Not only this but some of the students were also seen attending a few lectures of English.
The performances from Aaina theatre group, incredible group performed dance, Abhilash from BBA, Garhwali dance by NCC girls captivated the audience.
HOD’s of all Engineering branches and faculties of engineering department were present during the occasion.
