First batch of students trained in ‘Quality Engineering Centre’ of Sapient at Graphic Era complete course
The first batch of students trained at “Quality Engineering centre” at Graphic Era completed their course on 1December, 2018. The students were trained in coding skills and other associated domains. The centre is one of its kind, set up in Graphic Era Hill University in association with world's renowned multinational company, Sapient. Graphic Era has become the only University of the region, in addition to IITs and IIITs whose students are placed by Sapient in Campus placements.
On the occasion of the completion of the training Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Sapient Campus Head, India congratulated the students of the university for showing exemplary work and building their mettle for industrial challenges. In his address to the students he stated that the “Quality Engineering centre’, a center of excellence has been offering students the opportunities to present their skills and imbibe the skills required for industries. Mr. Kiran Rayachoti, Global Head Quality Engineering, Sapient, also addressed the students and said that the experts from Sapient imparted the students industrial skills like, coding, testing and related exercises and trained them for the industry. Senior Project Manager, Sapient, Ms. Vasudha Narasimhan presented the Completion Certificates to all the participating students
Vice Chancellor Graphic Era Hill University, Prof. Sanjay Jasola congratulated the students and said that Graphic Era has always been providing opportunities to its students to create cutting edge technologies and Sapient’s centre of excellence has been set up with the same motive.
