About the Department
The Department Of Electronics & Communication Engineering, has been continuously striving for excellence in engineering education and research.
It has experienced and well-qualified faculty resources from esteemed institutes like IITs, NIT and IIITs. The faculty expertise is in different areas including Signal Processing, Communication Systems, Antenna Design, RF Engineering, VLSI Design, Power Electronics, Instrumentation, Analog/Digital Circuit Design, Remote Sensing, VLSI, IOT, Artificial Intelligence , Neural Networks and Fuzzy logic to produce qualified and dynamic engineers in the fast changing areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
The department offers different courses like B. Tech, M. Tech (Communication Systems) and Doctoral Programs.
To promote high quality education & research, the Department is equipped with highly sophisticated software like Xilinx Vivado Design Suite, MATLAB, ORCAD and hardware like Advanced FPGA development boards/Kits of Digilent, Spectrum Analyzer, advanced PCB machine, Agilent Signal Generator, DSO’s, MIC Components test bench, CISCO Network Lab, IOT and Wireless sensor labs. We share our findings with the society by maintaining a strong link with the industry through industry-sponsored research labs as well as providing consultancy for national importance or technically challenging projects for latest IoT based devices. Thus, excelling in teaching and research, our Department is on the mission of reshaping the technological landscape of Uttarakhand while contributing to the body of knowledge.
