The School of Commerce was established in 2012 with an aim to create world class professionals in commerce domain, the programs in commerce equip graduates with technical and managerial skills necessary to understand and participate in modern business world and allow them to achieve the highest level of success in their professional career. The purpose of the programs is to provide a solid foundation in finance & accounts, economics, quantitative methods through exposing them to multi-disciplinary knowledge and skills. The School focuses on cultivating and nurturing various skills on decision making, leadership and management skills within the business arena and the programs are designed to prepare students for various managerial position in finance and account domain in the industry. The School offers students theoretical and practical exposure in order to prepare them for today’s business environment.

About the Department

The field of Commerce is engaged with all kind of businesess. Without the knowledge of the principles of commerce, no industry can progress. Within the public or private sector, managerial expertise which is highly  valued  and  career  advancement  within the management sphere  is supported by a recognised qualification degree commerce.

The  B.Com. (Hons.) and M.Com. program at Graphic Era Hill University (GEHU)  focuses  on  decision-making,  management  and technology  within the business.arena  and  is  designed to give the student  a strong foundation  in  the  essential  skills  required  for  a  successful  career  in  business . The B.Com. fully equips students  with  both  theoretical  and  practical exposure and also prepares them for a professional, commercial environment.
In an effort to truly "Globalize" the Teaching and Learning experience that one undergoes, the School of Commerce has collaborated with the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) to offer an international insight into the world of  International Finance and Accounts via curriculum development for the Academic Session 2017-18 along with learning partner ISDC (International Skill Development Corporation) and Academic Collaboration with CMA (Certified Management Accountant).
